Our client, a VSL based outerwear manufacturer, is looking for an experienced fit and spec to add to their team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fitting Outerwear
  • Knowledge of Illustrator
  • Experience in communicating with vendors
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and strong follow up skills

Your duties will include:

  • Assist in preparation of technical designs of garments using Illustrator
  • Working closely with Design, buying and production teams
  • Correct fit issues and communicate changes to the overseas makers
  • Maintain accurate product size and fit specifications in the finished garment
  • Follow up and proceed with any changes related to Fit & spec in the tech packs
  • Fit samples on a mannequin or live model, record comments to be sent for samples
  • Record and update corrections, communicate with overseas makers
  • Follow up until final approval, work with other department
