Our client, a VSL based manufacturer of clothing for men, women and kids, is looking to add an experienced assistant credit manager to their team.

  •     Handle all credit issues with boutique business
  •     Review on hold order report, follow up and review credit applications
  •     Manage customer credit files, work closely with credit manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain corporate credit policy
  • Handle all credit issues with boutique business, while keeping management aware of specific challenges.
  • Review ordersonhold report to follow up on delinquency and/or credit limit issues.
  • Review credit applications for new customers.
  • Work closely with sales and management team on customer credit issues.
  • Manage customer credit files.
  • Work with Credit Manager to negotiate customer terms.
  •  Monitor deductions taken by customers.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

 KEY REQUIREMENTS/ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to multitask and complete multiple projects within deadline.
  • Must be handson.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications and negotiation skills and be bilingual.
  • Must be highly organized and have strong time management skills.
  • Keen sense of detail while also able to see the big picture.
  • Computer proficiency must include Word and Excel; knowledge of Momentis a plus.
  • Ability to work in a friendly, small teamfocused group of employees with diverse backgrounds.
  • Minimum of five years of experience
