Our client, a major city in the Montréal region, is currently looking for an urban infrastructure engineer for its engineering service.

Nature of position

Answering to the head of the department, your job will primarily consist of taking part in studies and project analyses, as well as carrying out design work on urban infrastructure.

  • Perform and coordinate studies and project analyses related to the construction of municipal infrastructure;
  • Prepare studies, plans, specifications, preliminary estimates, and reports;
  • Take charge of sealing plans and specifications in compliance with provisions, laws, and regulations from l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Carry out any other task related to your duties.

Required qualification

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering;
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience;
  • Member of l'Ordre des Ingénieurs de Québec;
  • Experience with wastewater servicing condition studies, DA32 (MDDELCC) repair orders, urban hydraulic calculation, and supervision of external contracts;
  • Perfect command of spoken and written French.
