Must be available for all shifts

Monday through Friday 1st shift: 7am –3pm

2nd shift: 3pm-11pm

3rd shift: 11pm-7am.

Shift premiums apply to 2nd and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities include:

Industrial Maintenance Electrician certifications. 442A; preferred OR 309A

If applicant has 442A certification, then no food industry experience required. If applicant has 309A certification, they have to have minimum 2-5 years of food industry experience.

Minimum 3-5 years industrial experience (production/plant experience)

Must be completed with apprenticeship and have 442A or 309A licenses

Must have 3-5 years of experience with PLC troubleshooting, instrumentation and sensors

PLC courses preferred

PLC programming experience preferred

Read diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures

Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setting up and repair of machinery

Install machinery and mechanical equipment according to the layout plans using hand and power tools

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate abnormalities and malfunctions following the preventative maintenance schedule

Adjust machinery and repair or replace faulty parts through fabricating or installing new parts

Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machines

Make modifications to tools and fixtures including the fabrication of new parts as required

Complete appropriate documentation according to company procedures

PLC & troubleshooting and programming skills

Assist with inventory of maintenance parts

Inspect and repair heating and cooling systems

Preventative Maintenance

Follow maintenance schedule to ensure efficiency of company’s systems continuous improvements

Participate with team members in continuous improvement projects and suggestions

Hand and Power Tools Welder – Tig and Stick Verniers, Micrometers Decision Making Priority of repairs
