Service department Coordinator

At Aesus we design, fabricate, assemble, test and install packaging machinery (labelers, fillers, cappers, conveyors, turntables, etc.) for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage industries to name a few.  The company brings together a dynamic team of 100 employees and is located in Pointe-Claire (Montreal).

We are seeking a Service Department Coordinator.

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

Reporting to the Technical Service Manager, the person is responsible for taking charge and coordinating the service department by performing various tasks, including handling service quotations, coordinating service calls and organizing all the documentation of the service department.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with clients, send them the service quotations and do follow-ups;
• Schedule the Technicians’ appointments for the service calls and make all necessary arrangements and reservations for them (itinerary: flights, hotels, car, etc.);
• Provide Technicians with relevant information and documents and ensure that they have all necessary parts for the service calls;
• Prepare for the Technicians the appropriate documentation to pass the border;
• Ensure that the information and documentation related to the service department are properly organized and maintained (service and expense reports of Technicians, costumers’ invoices, etc.);
• Ensure the management of the parts that are needed to complete the machines that are in validation.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional or College diploma;
• 2-3 years of related experience;
• Good sense of organization and planning (very important) / Proactivity / Communication skills / Professionalism / Attention to detail;
• Bilingual, French and English (spoken and written);
• Computer knowledge (MS Office);
• Experience with an ERP system (asset);
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (important asset).

WORK CONDITIONS:

• Permanent position; Full time (40 hours / week);
• Day shiftfrom 8am to 4:30pm (but flexible, to be discussed);
• Possibility of summer hours;
