Lead Software Engineer – Web Development Team

Reporting to both the Development Director and Project Manager, you will lead a team of talented developers. You’ll work cooperatively with the cross-discipline central discipline teams to help deliver high quality software to the players.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the web architecture and web technical roadmap
  • Participate in planning, estimating and monitoring web development activities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain code
  • Drive the delivery of the web client on time and quality to the customers
  • Mentor and support Web Development team
  • Be the web expert for the studio
  • Improve development processes, CI, tools and automation

Requirements

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years as a Development Team Lead
  • 5+ years development experience
  • In depth knowledge of design patterns and industry best practices
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, ReactJS and CSS3.
  • Strong familiarity with client/server integration (REST, WebSockets)
  • Strong English and French, written and verbal communication skills

We’re looking for someone who is able to:

  • Identify needs and problems and proactively drive to solutions
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of individuals and teams
  • Work autonomously

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with these libraries : PIXI.js, GreenSock, Webpack, Redux, ImmutableJS
  • Experience with these tools :GIT, TeamCity, Jira
