Are you accountable for your responsibilities? Do you like to lead and manage a finance and accounting team?  Do you feel you can be at the top of a Finance and Accounting Organizational Chart? Are you ready to embark on a new journey with a profitable retailer with a presence across Canada. 

In their small offices located in the Chabanel district you will be leading a small accounting team.  You will assign and ensure all accounting responsibilities are performed in a timely fashion.  Reporting to the Executives you will develop relationships with Banks and lenders as well as with the accounting firm.  You will be in charge of all Month end procedures, Financial statements, year end audit files and obviously the full cycle.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need an accounting designation, at the minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position and at least 3 years in a supervision role.  A strong knowledge of Accounting practices in a retail environment would be considered a strong asset.  Strong knowledge of ERP and POS would be ideal and the ability to communicate in English and French is a must. 

Our customer offers 3 weeks of paid vacation, benefits and a starting salary between $90000 and $95000
