The primary function of this position is to be the head of our client's team.

This entails:

  • Creating new styles
  • Updating existing styles
  • Tech packs
  • Specs
  • Manual size grading
  • Living in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Working closely with the big boss

Responsibilities:

  • Trend & Analysis
  • Driving all new product development
  • Executing all flat sketches / fabric print design / apparel development inclusive of garment specs
  • Able to manually grade specs/designs
  • Work quickly and accurately in Photoshop / Illustrator
  • Responsible for the creation of all apparel spec / tech packs
  • Assist with factory communication process
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Able to Juggling multiple responsibilities in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Task-management skills
  • Organizational skills are a top requirement for this role.
  • Knowledge of design from concept through to finished garment
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years experience in apparel design & technical specifications, experience in eCommerce, apparel, or children's a plus
  • Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator mastery with ability to design line sheets / tech packs
  • Background in of design, specs and apparel manual grading (preferably childrens)

Salary: $85,000.00 /year
