Your challenge:

  • Offer personalized care assistance to the residents.
  • Actively take part in creating and maintaining a warm, exciting, dynamic and safe environment.
  • Create trusting bonds founded on respect and dignity with the residents and their families.
  • Encourage the residents’ participation and independence.
  • Carry out any other support tasks (meal servicing and maintenance).

Requirements:

  • Training certificate for caring for seniors in private residences for 510 hours; or a DVS in helping those in health facilities or being a nursing students (DCS) or currently in training (SASI).
  • Minimum 6 months of experience.
  • PDSB / CPR training up to date.
  • Being known for your customer service, team spirit and organization.
  • Bilingualism, spoken (an asset).
