UX designer

The UX designer’s main responsibilities are listed as below

 Specifications responsibilities:

•  Analyze the requirements of the project;
•  Analyze the user experience, communication, strategy and concept of the competitors’ products;
•  Develop different user archetypes: research, personas, task scenarios and mental models;
•  Write detailed feature specifications and user stories;
•  Conscientiously document, communicate and discuss ideas;
•  Conduct compliance tests throughout the product development.

 Interface responsibilities:

• Create storyboards, wireframes and prototypes to assist the product development;
• Create interactive experiences;
• Mock up graphics models;
• Quickly iterate the design to incorporate new ideas.

Technical responsibilities:

• Understand technical limitations;
• Brainstorm and collaborate with designers and front-end developers to carry out projects.

Requirements:

• Strong written and oral communication skills in French is mandatory;
• Bachelor degree in graphic design, communication, cognitive science or others;
• 5+ years experiences in interface design;
• Excellent writing skills (reports, analysis, propositions);
• In-depth knowledge of latest trends in mobile development OS, and responsive web design;
• Ability to integrate visual design concepts to documentation and pitch;
• Ability to communicate a design approach to the team;
• Adaptation, sense of priorities and flexibility;
• Passionate about the latest technologies and the mobile environment;
• Willing to learn new skills and tools as part of professional development;
• Demonstrate attention to detail, be customer-oriented and creative during problem solving sessions;
• Strong abilities to follow-up and organize into a hierarchy many simultaneous tasks;
• Experience in web and e-commerce applications;
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Powerpoint and Excel);
• Experience with various web browsers and multi-platform applications (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.);
• Good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and Responsive.

 Highly desirable assets:

• Knowledge of Balsamiq, Fireworks, Axure, Photoshop or other mockups, prototyping and design tools;
• Experience in user stories writing;
• Knowledge of business intelligence.
