SUMMARY:

The candidate will collaborate with the Electro-mechanical team and the Quebec Energy Engineering and Construction Division. This position places great emphasis on the energy aspect of building mechanics as well as on supermarket refrigeration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct regular consumption monitoring for the different company sites and note any discrepancies to take corrective action.
• Collaborate when conducting energy analysis on the company sites.
• Participate in the development and implementation of energy retrofit of Quebec and Ontario projects.
• Follow up with stakeholders in energy projects to maintain the targeted savings.
• Support the design team in conjunction with refrigeration energy efficiency design options.
• Participate in the design of supermarket refrigeration.
• Collaborate with electromechanical supermarkets when necessary.
• Participate in meetings related to projects with internal resources or external professionals.
• Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.

ELIGIBILITY:

• DEC in Mechanical Building
• 5 years of experience in mechanical building, including at least 3 years in the food and/or retail trade
• Have a good knowledge of the concepts and facilities of food trade, refrigeration and energy monitoring software
• Good experience in implementing energy efficiency projects
• Knowledge of regulations and energy pricing in Quebec and Ontario
• Thorough knowledge of the "Auto-Cad" software and Windows environment
• Bilingualism is essential (written and spoken)
