Process Specialist Industrial Development, CDI – Day

Description :

• The Process Specialist manages the process technology transfer to the company's factories or to contractors;
• Contribute to improving or optimizing existing processes;
• Perform upscaling between R&D, pilot plant and commercial manufacturing sites (including transfer ratio);
• Support the subcontractors in development and production;
• Participate in the technical evaluation when buying new products;
• Participate in investigations and propose experimental designs when required;
• Participate in the preparation of test protocols;
• Ensure proper communication and exchange of information between customer and validation services;
• Participate in activities related to; feasibility and clinical trial batches in order to ensure their successful completion;
• Coordinate the installation and implementation of innovative equipments;
• Consolidate fabrication policies and procedures with all related documentation such as; cost sheets, transfer reports, etc.);
• Revise the fabrication sections of various regulatory documents to ensure quality standards;
• Monitor any technological developments and communicate any findings and/or recommendations with the organization.

Requirements :

• Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related science with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic industry;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fabricating pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic products, mainly creams;
• Experience in the industrialization of new products and marketing / product transfer;
• Formulation experience is an asset;
• Knowledge of GMP and US / Canada Regulation within a pharmaceutical environment;
• Bilingualism (spoken and written);
• Availability to travel 15% of the time.
