SUMMARY:

• An individual to support his / her superior in the development and implementation of information for users of sectors assigned to vice president and controller of Quebec and its Ontario counterpart systems. 
• The candidate should ensure standardization of the proposed solutions and compliance with the guidelines of the Information Systems division. 
• The candidate must also participate in the development of norms and standards to be used during development. 
• The candidate should help develops reports that will be the official publication under Store_mart, Cat_mart and BW wholesaler. Lastly, looking for an individual who will participate in activities related to the users development of the portal.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of management tools, procedures and controls to integrate new technologies into the activities of the departments;
• Develop reports and analyses using Cognos TM1, BW and Excel, in relation to Cat_mart data Store_mart, wholesaler and financial tools;
• Participate in technical activities related to the official publication of reports as well as those related to the portal from the perspective of users;
• Participate in the development of norms and standards to be used in the development of tools for desktop management in accordance with company practice;
• Ensuring compliance with the strategic direction of the company in supporting activities of the divisional staff with affected development reporting and management tools;
• Ensure business continuity by maintaining proper documentation and adequate divisional reports that will help provide specific training.;
• Participate in the identification of business user needs and offer hi/her superior conceptual models of desktop management tools able to comply in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Ensure the quality of information produced by management systems by performing integrity tests;
• Participate in the development of computer and/ or divisional projects;
• Project management, alone or in groups according to the size of projects;
• Provide training to users.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and / or Certificate in Information Technology;
• 3 years experience in a similar position;
• Ability to conceptualize models of management tools on desktop platform (Excel);
• Knowledge of specific tools for data warehousing applications. (Bw - Tm1 - Cognos);
• Proficient in Microsoft Office XP (VBA);
• Great ability to learn new software;
• Good knowledge of retail (food, an asset);
• Ability to interact with managers;
• Ability to interact with computer analysts;
• Bilingualism is essential (written and spoken).
