Warehouse manager – Weekend #626

Our client, an important furniture distribution center, is currently looking for a warehouse manager for the weekend schedule. What better way to manage your budget than being paid on the weekend!

The main tasks consist of:

• Planning daily work while respecting the goals and schedules;
• Coordinating and distributing the work among employees at the beginning of the shift and throughout the day based on priority;
• Working with the executive and employees to ensure that the health and safety standards and other laws are understood;
• Planning the workforce needed;
• Ensuring greeting and integration of new employees;
• Helping train employees;
• Organizing the warehouse to optimize resources, space and time;
• Updating merchandise inventory in the computer system;
• Managing operations of material reception coordination;
• Ensuring that order shipments are done perfectly and on schedule;

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience as a warehouse manager;
• Comfortable managing high amount of personnel;
• Prioritize and manage stress;
• Be a dynamic leader and able to motivate the employees;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
• Great communication skills;
• Knowledge of the inventory management system Warehouse Management System – an asset.
• Bilingualism (French and English).

Salary: From 23$ to 25$ per hour.

Schedule: From 7am to 5:30pm / Thursday to Monday.

Status: Long-term / stable.
