Our client in Montreal is looking for a tempering operator to join their team. Since 1982, the company has become a leader in metallurgical solutions. The company covers different fields of activity: thermal treatments, non-destructive testing services, laboratory and metallurgical analysis services, consultation and training in metallurgy.

Tasks:

  • Prepare pieces for tempering.
  • Layout batches.
  • Pick the right tools.
  • Operate different equipment based on the work.
  • Program ovens.
  • Verify parts after tempering.
  • Clean and vacuum the parts.
  • Count pieces and label them.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a machine operator.
  • Comfortable working in a hot environment.  
  • Good judgment and manual dexterity.
  • Hard-working.
  • Able to read a scheme.
  • Available to work with a rotated schedule of day and night.

Salary: 15$ per hour.

Schedule: Rotated shifts, day and night.

Status: Temporary to permanent.
