Having many business partners and a team of experts in networking, messaging, servers, virtualization, security, backups, restoration and other important categories, they offer a service adapted to every clients’ needs.

Our client is looking for a Systems and Network Administrator (level 3), who will also act as a technical director, to fill the position in the Montreal office for long term.

Your main functions will be to:

• Act as a technical team leader.
• Promote company products and services.
• Suggest computer solutions to clients.
• Do technical presentations.
• Analyze clients’ computer infrastructures.
• Recommend and write the appropriate documents.
• Train different technicians, transfer competencies and knowledge.
• Act as a Senior Systems and Network Administrator.
• Carry out Computer Science tasks by following the procedures.
• Complete infrastructure, deployment and integration projects.
• Analyze, maintain, save and restore systems in case of failures.
• Oversee that that the equipment, networks and software are functioning properly.
• Maintain and install networks and servers.
• Identify account, access, software, network and server malfunctions.
• Offer excellent support to users and other technicians.
• Direct the different system to their clientele (Level 3).
• Complete any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

• ACS, DCS or Baccalaureate in Computer Science or similar studies.
• Very good level of bilingualism (French and English – spoken and written).
• Be ready to work on the road and at the clients.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a level 2/3 IT Tech.
• Valid driver’s license – Drive to the clients.
• Able to write procedures and documents.
• Be available for overtime, on occasion.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Great knowledge in networking.
• Very good knowledge of:
• Networking (TCP/IP, Protocoles, Ports, Routage), Servers Windows, Active Directory, Messaging (Exchange), Virtualization (VMware, ESXI 3, 4, 5), Security/Monitoring Networks (VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Symantec), Troubleshoots and Restaurations (Symantec, NT Backup, Veeam, CA), Terminals (RAS, VNC, RDP, Citrix), Storage (NAS, SAN, DAS), Linux/Unix System, Mac, Windows, Hardware.
• Recognized certificates: VCP, Network+, Security+, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, or others.

Salary: 60 000$ to 85 000$, based on experience.

Schedule: Day, 9am to 5pm / 40h per week.
