Description

EquiSoft is a prime system integrator for the Oracle Insurance suite of products for Fortune 500 insurance companies. EquiSoft is currently looking for highly motivated candidates to join the company as Quality Assurance Specialist.

The ideal candidate is a team player which has strong testing skills, insurance industry knowledge, a good acquaintance with quality assurance concepts, good communication skills, the ability to adapt depending on the platform and the willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test scenarios
• Develop and conduct automated test scripts
• Analyse the causes of issues identified during the testing
• Conduct a range of functional, integration, regression and performance tests
• Participate in team meetings during the various phases of a project

Requirements

• Essential – Familiar with the QA process (2 years’ experience or more)
• Essential – Experience in elaborating test plans
• Essential – English fluency (spoken and written)
• Important – Experience with relational databases (SQL)
• Asset – Scripting automated tests (SoapUI, Selenium, Neoload, C#, etc.)
• Asset – Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
• Asset – Degree in computer science or software engineering
• Asset  – Fluent in French or Spanish (spoken and written)
• Position may require occasional travel to Canada and USA
