Spare Parts Assistant

At Aesus we design, fabricate, assemble, test and install packaging machinery (labelers, fillers, cappers, conveyors, turntables, etc.) for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage industries to name a few.  The company brings together a dynamic team of 100 employees and is located in Pointe-Claire (Montreal).

We are seeking a Spare parts Assistant.

Main objective:

Under the supervision of the Spare parts Manager, the candidate has the responsibility to assist the department in different ways:

Main responsibilities :

• Send quotes to customers;
• Enter orders from customers (received by phone, email, etc.);
• Send purchase orders to suppliers;
• Open all the project jobs in the system, enter all the information needed and do the necessary follow ups;
• Take care of shipping documents (FedEx, UPS, Puro, etc.);
• Pick parts from stockroom;
• Prepare boxes for pick up and put shipping labels accordingly;
• Answer incoming calls in the afternoon (reception phone);
• Other related tasks.

Requirements :

• Vocational diploma (or similar) in administration or related degree;
• Experience in a related position;
• Bilingual (must speak and write in English fluently);
• Mastering Microsoft Office;
• Organized / Ability to manage stress / Ability to manage priorities / Attention to detail / Team player / Action oriented / Customer Service skills.

Work conditions :

• Permanent position, Full time (40h/week);
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm (important to be able to work until at least 4:30pm)
