An amazing distribution company is currently looking to hire a customer service and order taking position. Do you have strong business relation skills, are you meticulous and known for your sense of humour? You can be the one we are looking for!

Administrative tasks:

  • Receive, take daily orders and register them in the system (telephone, email, fax).
  • Verify the availability of the merchandise – If broken, suggest an equivalent product when needed.
  • Make sure to respect the lines of credit allocated to retailers in every invoice or take credit card payments, if applicable.
  • Follow-up on orders.
  • Send invoices related to orders and proceed to the payments.
  • Confirm with the client the delivery deadline and contact them for any changes.
  • Coordinate with the delivery dispatchers every day.
  • Keep customer files up to date (delivery address, invoice address, contact person, banking information, etc.).
  • Manage and coordinate the problems related to credit and cancelled orders.
  • Send promotions to retailers according to their frequency.
  • Send weekly inventory reports to retailers.
  • Issue and maintain the price/product list and send clients upon the executive’s request.
  • Carry out any other tasks relevant to the job.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Extensive knowledge in MS Office.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position (handling orders, invoicing and extensive knowledge of companies).
  • Experience in customer service and retail, an asset.
  • Understanding of the billing cycle versus the inventory levels.
  • Excellent level of bilingualism (written and spoken).
