Our client is an important multinational company that wishes to hire an instrumentation and control technician to join their dynamic team.

Tasks:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance, calibration and measuring instruments and control devices calibration
  • Install, repair, caliber and modify different types of electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment
  • With a programming software, install, modify and diagnose all programmable controllers
  • Follow the calibration procedures.
  • Carry out the calibration of instruments
  • Take part in continuous improvement projects
  • Document and keep the projects up to date.
  • Follow the occupational health and safety standards and policies
  • Carry out any other tasks related to the position.

The ideal candidate will:

Requirements:

  • DCS in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control or any other training seen as relevant.
  • C license issued by the ministry of labour (mandatory).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.
  • Good knowledge in Allen Bradley and Siemens programmable controllers.
  • Experience in a continuous manufacturing factory (a strong asset)

Salary: 35$ to 36$ per hour

Schedule: Day (4 10 hour days)

Status: Permanent
