Our client in Montreal is currently looking for a team leader in mechanical maintenance. This person will be in charge of maintaining and repairing heavy trucks.

Main functions:

• Maintain fleet equipment;
• Repair equipment when necessary;
• Follow-up on defects reported by drivers;
• Do mechanical verifications and respect the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) of the SAAQ;
• Maintain and repair company vehicles, when necessary;
• Fill documents necessary for vehicle repairs;
• Do road tests to verify the quality of the repairs;
• Repair equipment on the road with the mobile unit;
• Keep your work station clean and safe;
• Help and give advice to colleagues;
• Order from the clerk the necessary parts for vehicle repair;
• Identify the problems of the vehicle.  
• Do other related tasks.

Requirements:

• DVS in heavy truck mechanics or equivalent experience;
• Valid class 5 driver’s license;
• Legitimate competency license or minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic’s apprentice;
• PMP certification (an asset);

Salary: Based on experience.

Schedule: Day from Monday to Friday (7am- 3:30pm)

Status: Permanent
