Our client a well-known Montreal based international designer, leading manufacturer and distributor of Men’s, Women’s, Boys and Girls wear seeks experienced Designer/Product Developer to report to the Head designer.  High volume, fast-paced creative environment commands a self-starter who is hard-working, with a personable character to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of styles presentations.
  • Creating and completing of all technical sketches and tech packs.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics and garments construction.
  • Communicate with suppliers for sampling follow up, must make sure submissions and samples come in on time.
  • Update follow up charts daily.
  • Be the link between different departments to streamline information.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/ATTRIBUTES

  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. French is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • You are positive and work well with others.
  • You are highly organized.
  • You have an excellent memory.
  • You are a confident person.
  • Possess educational background in Fashion design.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator CS6 and Adobe Photoshop CS6.
  • Computer proficiency must include Word and Excel.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Full time
  • Salary : 40K to 45K based on experience
