Our client in Drummondville is a growing company that has been in business for almost 20 years. They specialize in designing and manufacturing high-end kitchen cabinets, counters and washroom vanities for commercial and residential purposes. They are currently seeking a cabinetmaker for their day team.

The tasks consist of:

• Cut pieces of wood according to the manufacturing plans
• Assemble and build furniture
• Verify if there are errors in the plan and make the necessary adjustments
• Find the material in the warehouse
• Use the right tools according to the work that needs to be done
• Follow the health and safety standards
• Write reports
• Ensure the production goes smoothly
• Maintain the tools
• Any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

• Secondary 4.
• DVS in cabinetmaking or a similar field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of the different types of wood.
• Being in good shape.
• Being able to lift heavy loads.
• Having attention to the quality of manufactured products.
• Being analytical.
• Being responsible.
• Good punctuality, interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn, positive and motivated.

Salary: 15$ to 22$ per hour according to experience

Schedule: Day shift / Monday to Friday

Status: Permanent
