Job Description:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors, market, consumers, products, and shipments to garner insights, feed into go-to-market plans, and develop strategic initiatives;
  • Developing analytical skills through analysis of trends, performance indicators and competitive environment;
  • Work together with R&D for pricing of products and analyzing the potential profitability;
  • Drive go-to-market support activities including new product launches, channel strategies, brand communications, point of sale, and promotions working with internal and external partners;
  • Leading brand specific projects ensuring effective and efficient delivery on time and within budget commitments;
  • Generating names for new and existing products and services, coming up with ideas for new packaging designs, including shape, size, colors, fonts and imagery;
  • Developing plans and business building campaigns that span innovation, promotions and communications;
  • Analyze results to track performance, identify issues, trends and opportunities, and continuously improve programs;
  • Overseeing the production of newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, social media campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers;
  • Supervising the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines;
  • Monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions through focus groups and market research;
  • Co-coordinating the launch program to external customers.

Skills Required:

  • University degree in marketing;
  • Bilingual French/English;
  • 2 years + experiences in similar functions;
  • 2 years + Social Media experience;
  • Have an instinctive feeling about future product concepts;
  • Have good analytical skills;
  • Be a good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research;
  • Be able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business;
  • Be able to manage different projects at the same time;
  • Be energetic and passionate about their product specialty;
  • Be organized and methodical;
  • Be able to work well under pressure;
  • Exemplary communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
  • Able to succinctly summarize data, provide insightful commentary, and communicate with impact;
  • Demonstrated success launching new products;
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
