CALÉO, a new residence for retirees that will officially open July 1st, 2018, is currently seeking an auxiliary nurse to join their new team. Interviews will begin the week of May 14 2018. Are you a member of the OIIAQ and have a DVS in Health, assistance and nursing with a minimum of 6 months of experience? Hurry and send us your resume as soon as possible!

Your challenge:

• Provide personalized nursing care to all dependent and independent residents by checking their health and their file;
• Provide the help needed for all emergency situations, while respecting the company rules and quality;
• Create and maintain trusting relations with residents, their family and health workers;
• Actively participate in creating and maintaining a welcoming, stimulating, vibrant, and safe living environment.

Requirements:

• Member of the OIIAQ, must have proof
• DVS in Health, assistance and nursing
• Standard First Aid and CPR licenses up-do-date
• PDSB training
• WHMIS training (asset
• Minimum 6 months of experience as auxiliary nurse (experience in geriatrics would be an asset, also experience and knowledge in a residential environment);
• Functional bilingualism;
• Have no legal impediment related to the position
