CALÉO, a new residence for retirees that will officially open July 1st, 2018, is currently seeking an assistant pastry chef to join their new food services team. Interviews will begin the week of May 14 2018. Do you have a DVS in Professional Cooking, professional background in pastry-making, minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position and are looking for reasonable hours? Your challenge:

  • Assist the Head of Food Service with all aspects of food service management;
  • Help prepare meals, keep the premises organized, sanitary and clean, and the good management of inventory;
  • Responsibly and effectively use equipment;
  • Help prevent accidents and ensure the safety and well-being of employees and residents.

Requirements:

  • DVS in Professional Cooking or the equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a cook
  • Relevant experience in pastry-making;
  • Experience in kitchen supervision
  • MAPAQ certification;
  • Have no legal impediment related to the position
