Our client in the Old Port of Montreal is currently seeking a junior architect to make a difference for their clients! If you are bilingual, organized and lead all your projects, we want to meet you!

Your responsibilities will be to: 

  • Organize and take part in meetings (write debriefings)
  • Prepare the feasibility study, programs and budgetary studies.
  • Field the development and architectural concepts.
  • Act as a coordinator to create plans, estimates and construction details.
  • Manage construction contracts and follow up on the fields.
  • Follow the evolution of the structural, mechanical and electrical designs.
  • Coordinate team members during projects.
  • Do an impeccable and continuous quality control.
  • Carry out any other tasks required for the position.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to manage many projects at once (good priority management).
  • Be able to work alone and in a team.
  • Be very organized.
  • Have skills in project inspection and in building envelop restauration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in architecture.
  • Member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry or consulting services.
  • Knowledge of the building’s codes and the documents used in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of the recent version of AutoCAD.
  • Chartered Professional LEED-Canada Certification (asset).
  • Skills in restauration and conservation projects for heritage buildings (asset).

Salary: 26$ to 30$ per hour

Schedule: Day shift / 35 h per week

Status: Permanent
