A financial services firm that stands out from its competitors in a friendly environment is currently looking to hire an administrative assistant. Your position will consist of assisting the President, therefore you will have to:

  • Answer telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate person, when needed;
  • Greet visitors/clients and direct them to the financial security consultant;
  • Manage the email inbox at the reception;
  • Reserve conference rooms;
  • Manage your manager’s agenda (Reunions and Outlook appointments);
  • Answer the clients’ questions regarding information;
  • Prepare and create clients’ files, open accounts, insurance proposals, forms, etc.;
  • Follow-up with clients and other insurance companies about their files;
  • Order office/stationary supplies and check the inventory;
  • Organize the promotional tools and corporate brochures;
  • Carry out the payments of different supplier accounts, based on the terms;
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

  • DVS in secretariat or DCS in office automation.
  • Valid personal insurance license.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge in MS Office.
  • Knowledge in the Kronos software – a great asset.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Extensive knowledge in English – an asset.

Salary: 40 000$ to 45 000$, based on experience

Schedule: 8:30 AM to 4 PM (1h lunch) – 32.5h
