We are seeking an accounting technician for a construction company that has been standing out for over 40 years.

To be accepted for this position, the criteria is simple. You absolutely have experience in the field of construction! If you can easily understand the CCQ standards, this job in Laval is for you!

As the main person in accounting, you will have to manage the complete accounting cycle, which means to:

• Take care of the accounting per project.
• Take care of the company billing and follow-up on the advances.
• Manage the accounts payables and receivables from start to finish.
• Take care of bank reconciliation.
• Write GST and QST reports.
• Write many book entries.
• Take part in preparing accounting documents and financial statements to give to the external accounting firm.
• Analyze the ledger accounts.
• Handle the payroll and verify the CCQ reports.
• Disclose the project and letters in compliance with the CCQ/CSST.
• Carry out any other tasks related to accounting that are required for the position.

Requirements:

• DCS in Accounting – an asset.
• Extensive knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Knowledge in Simple Accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position (completed accounting cycle).
• Experience in the field of construction and knowledge of the CCQ standards.
• Good level of bilingualism.

Salary: 40 000$ to 50 000$ per year
