We are currently seeking, for one of our clients, someone who will be in charge of the accounting section of their construction company. Do you wish to put all your administrative and accounting skills to good use for our client?  An accountant position awaits!

Your daily tasks to complete will be to:

• Carry out the complete accounting cycle until the financial statements;
• Generally manage suppliers and customer accounts.
• Collect on accounts that are past due and do a follow up;
• Take care of bank reconciliation;
• Handle the pay (CCQ);
• Write book entries;
• Write GST/QST/DAS reports;
• Analyze different accounts;
• Follow-up, ensure the profit and confirm project costs;
• Any other tasks related to accounting that are required for the position

Requirements:

• DCS in accounting,
• Extensive knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel),
• Knowledge in the accounting software, Avantage – an asset,
• At least 5 years of experience in similar position with similar tasks,
• Experience in the field of construction – an asset,
• Knowledge of the CCQ standards – an asset,
• Good level of bilingualism – an asset.

Salary: 45 000$ to 60 000$ per year.

Schedule: Day / 8 AM to 4:30 PM / 37.5hrs per week
