Urgent! 2 positions for quenching furnace operator in Châteauguay

We are seeking two experience people to fill the position of quenching furnace operator for one of our clients in Chateauguay. The company specializes in thermal treatment for aeronautics, industrial and energy sectors.

Main tasks:

  • Help the foreperson in operating the furnace and lifting the lot
  • Follow the procedure for every type of part and every furnace
  • Program the machines before starting them
  • Do the quality control of the finished parts
  • Follow the occupational health and safety rules 
  • Any other similar tasks

Requirements:

  • Secondary 5 completed
  • Must be able to speak at a high level of French
  • Must be able to read French at an intermediate level 
  • Experience in treating metals (asset)
  • Forklift or crane bridge license (asset)
  • Being available the day, evening, night and weekends for variable schedules
  • Taking initiative and being resourceful

Salary: 18$ per hour

Schedule: Day / Evening / Night / Weekend

Status: Permanent.
