A construction company in the Ahuntsic region created a new position and we need your skills to coordinate it.

As a specialist in document control, you will have to:

  • Ensure a control of the workshop design documents, end-of-projects and technical information requests.
  • Ensure the exactitude, quality and integrity of all company documents.
  • Follow the conservation rules of the registers as well as protect all documents attached.
  • Maintain a computer database and a classification system for all the documentation.
  • Manage all requests in the follow-up.
  • Scan and register documents relating to the project in the documentation system and ensure its exactitude at all times.
  • Review and distribute the latest version of the review and conservation to all users.
  • Support all departments and help create, elaborate and update models.
  • Research information and answer all of the users’/project managers’ questions.
  • Close projects with project managers.
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have technical editing skills.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Take initiative and be organized.
  • Have everything in order and be methodic with their work.

Requirements:

  • DCS in administration or office automation OR certificate in archival studies.
  • Extensive knowledge in MS Office.
  • Being comfortable in a computer-based environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in an archive department – an asset.
  • Good level of bilingualism – especially spoken.

Salary: 35 000 to 45 000$ per year

Schedule: Day / 8 AM to 5 PM (Monday to Thursday) – 8 AM to 2:30 PM (Friday) – 40 hours per week
