Our client is seeking a resourceful and professional person to fill the position of financial analyst and who will be in charge of analyzing and preparing financial information for their office in Downtown Montreal.

Working closely with the other services, the job requires you:

  • Carry out the financial statement including cash-flow.
  • Write many reports explaining the discrepancies.
  • Provide account conciliations of the ledger.
  • Write and maintain the journal entries in the ledger.
  • Make the schedules of the account analyses for the annual audit.
  • Be in charge of the financial information (results and balance sheet analysis) as well as the accounting of the financial transactions according to the IFRS and the company’s policies.
  • Take part in improving the current procedures.
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Knowledge in accounting software like Oracle, an asset.
  • Very good knowledge in French and English, both spoken and written.

Salary: 85 000$ per year

Schedule: Day / 8:30 AM to 5 PM / 35 hours per week

Status: Temporary
