We are currently looking for a work health and safety advisor for our head office in Laval.

Under the Health and Safety’s director, the advisor will manage health and safety related files, which include prevention, follow-ups, investigations, contestations and all other tasks related to the SST.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Visit clients to evaluate the work environment, tasks, safety rules and other aspects related to work health and safety;
• Investigate and collect all information necessary to an optimal management;
• Personally advise consultants about work health and safety matters;
• Manage work accident processes;
• Manage workers in temporary allocations;
• Coaching on work health and safety matters;
• Preparing the pay for injured employees;
• Being up to date with accident reports and the costs involved;
• Deal with contestations and convocations in medical expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, human resources or other related fields;
• Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position;

• Excellent skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook);
• Bilingualism – oral and written;
• Great multi-site management skills.

Salary: Based on experience + social benefits.

Schedule: Day / 40 hour weeks.

Status: Permanent.
