Our client is an entrepreneur specializing in roofs and has been in business for over 50 years. They want to hire a supervisor to manage their garage and the outdoor courtyard, and also manage the staff.

Main tasks:

• Plan and organize daily tasks to ensure that everything in the warehouse runs smoothly;
• Manage a team of 2-3 people;
• Manage purchases, deliveries, construction and other equipment;
• Evaluate equipment repairs and call subcontractors when necessary;
• Plan work orders for the maintenance team, while keeping in mind the features, priorities and expectations;
• Ensure that materials and resources are available during work;
• Maintain a good business relation with subcontractors, clients and suppliers;
• Solve problems and find solutions for continuous improvement;
• Respect and ensure that others respect company policies, procedures and rules;
• Ensure that the staff follows occupational health and safety rules;
• Prepare and fill weekly reports.

Requirements:

• Vocational studies in heavy truck mechanics, an asset.
• Minimum de 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in staff management.
• Knowledge in computer science, mandatory.
• Knowledge of truck mechanics (essential).
• Bilingualism, an asset.

Salary: 50 000$ or more, based on experience

Schedule: 6am to 4pm and possible overtime

Status: Permanent
