Our client in Verdun specializes in selling designer furniture and is seeking someone with the skills set to be their warehouse supervisor.

Main tasks:

• Manage and supervise a team of 3 to 4 people;
• Manage stock, orders and carriers;
• Supervise the disposition and storage of the furniture on shelves;
• Follow up on the order shipment, palletization ad furniture packaging;
• Ensure that the daily operations respect the OSH standards, policies and production requirements;
• Ensure that all shipment, reception and distribution operations run smoothly;
• Manage inventory;
• Any other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• Excellent physical shape, 
• Ability to lift loads as heavy as 50 pounds,
• Minimum one year of experience in supervision in a distribution center or in a warehouse,
• Be bilingual (French/English),
• Ability to manage a team’s performance and ensure to reach the fixed goals,
• Good judgment and discretion.

Salary: 17$ to 18$ per hour based on experience

Schedule: Evening and weekend (Wednesday to Friday, from 1 PM to 9 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM)

Status: Temporary, long term
