Our client specialises in making quality appetizers. Thanks to its exceptional quality of original products in 1994, the company is expanding. Our client has production site in Montreal and Toronto, who has a level 3 SQF certificate, awarded for the food quality and safety.

We are currently looking for a warehouse clerk. In a very modern warehouse, your mission will be to

  • Operate a forklift (Toyota sit down and/or Raymond stand up) in the warehouse and the freezers.
  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • Control inventory and make sure of order maintenance in the warehouses and freezers.
  • Write delivery slips with our computer software.
  • Follow procedures established by the HACCP, the good industrial practices and Occupational Health and Safety rules.
  • Fill and convey required forms.
  • Verify and inspect equipment based on needs.
  • Ensure an efficient and fast service in merchandise treatment.
  • Help take inventory.
  • Update the merchandise inventory on the computer.
  • Do other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in receiving and shipping, preferably in an agro-food industry.
  • Sit down and stand up forklift operator (updated competency card).
  • Bilingualism (French and English) because the person will have to give instructions to truck drivers in both French and English.
  • Knowledge in computer science.
  • Able to provide a certain physical effort.
  • Responsible and independent.
  • Able to work in a team and communicate efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and methodical interest.
  • Organization skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Fast worker.

Salary: 14$ to 16$ per hour

Schedule: Evening

Status: Temporary – possibility of permanency
