Our client in Laval has been specializing in management software development for their clientele in manufacturing for over 30 years and is looking for a programmer to be part of their team. You will always have new projects for their new and current clients.

Your tasks:

  • Modify, create and implement new applications or functionalities with modern technology.
  • Analyse clients’ needs and project specifications.
  • Generate updated scripts.
  • Work according to the specifications to fill the position’s functions.
  • Use development tools like, but not only, C#, VB.NET, SQL.
  • Maintain the existing software system code by identifying and correcting software defects.
  • Test and debug applications.
  • Study and develop competences in new technologies.
  • Implement new software.
  • Collaborate with other teams and managers.
  • Do other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience using .Net WinForms, and .Net WPF softwares.
  • Understanding design models MVVM and object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent knowledge in the VB.Net programming language.
  • Experience with the following technologies: Visual Studio, .NET 4, Windows Services, WCF, Entity Framework 6, SQL, C#.
  • Experience in the ERP system development (an asset).
  • Use modern technologies.

Salary: From 50 000 $ to 60 000 $ per year, based on experience.

Schedule: Day / 8am to 5pm / 40 hours per week.
