Turn Machinist – evening # 1168

Our important client in Ville Saint-Laurent is a growing factory workshop that produces small complex and precise components with excellent CNC machine-tools, and is currently looking for a turn machinist for the evening shift. Who will win?

Tasks:

• Supervise machining activities like building, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Do the necessary inspection of first pieces or during production.
• Suggest corrective measures, if need be.
• Analyse operation efficiency and production quality. 
• Other related tasks required for the position.

Requirements:

• Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in mechanic engineer or a Vocation Studies Diploma (DVS) in processing technology.
• Three (3) years of experience in producing high-precision machined parts or the equivalent. 
• Independent, consistency and very organized in your work.
• Able to work in a team and be analytical.
• Must respect the company’s mission, product quality and schedules.
• Able to communicate in French.
• Have access to a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.

Salary: 17$ to 24$ per hour, based on experience + 1$ per hour evening bonus.

Schedule: Evening, from 3:15pm to 1:45am / Monday to Thursday

Status: Temporary to permanent
