Our client, a large-scale company located in Montreal North, is looking for a translator on contract for an indefinite period.

Administrative tasks:

• Support the department in coordinating tasks done externally and the subcontracting.
• Process the billing for completed works.
• Translate from English to French, correct or adapt texts of different kinds.
• Answer linguistic questions for internal clients.
• Grow the company’s terminology bank.
• Do other tasks related to the position.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Organized and take initiative.
• Bachelor’s degree in translation or an equivalent training.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent skills in MS Office (especially Word).
• French mother tongue.
• Knowledge in fields like food, kitchen and nutrition (an asset).

Salary: 18$ to 22$ based on experience

Schedule: Day, from 8:00am to 5:00pm / Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)

Status: Temporary, contract of at least 3 months
