Our client is seeking someone to be their Supplier Quality Inspector for their office in Chateauguay.

Tasks:

• Implement policies and procedures to support the Operations and the Quality Management System.
• Work with the reception to collect all parts and documentation.
• Verify the packaging and documentation.
• Inspect and write reports.
• Identify the pieces that are physically non-conform and in the MRP system to avoid their production use.
• Disengage and pass transactions in the MRP system if the parts are not conform.
• Contact the supplier by sending an NCR if the parts are not conform.
• Follow up non-conform parts.
• Inform the Operations, Purchases and Engineering departments.
• Work with the Customer Quality Inspector.
• Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Extensive knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge in the quality system.
• Being perfectly bilingual (English-French).

Salary: 30$ to 36$ per hour

Schedule: Day / 40 hrs per week

Status: Temporary (9 months with possible permanence)
