SEVA, a new residence for retirees that will officially open on March 1st 2018, is currently looking for sous-chefs to join their new food services team. The interviews will begin mid-January. Your challenge: 

  • Assist the Head of Food Service with all aspects of food service management;
  • Help prepare meals, keep kitchen spaces orderly; assist in ensuring compliance with hygiene standards, cleanliness of the premises, and good management of inventory;
  • Use equipment responsibly and effectively;
  • Help prevent accidents and ensure the safety and well-being of employees and residents.

Requirements:

  • DVS in Professional Cooking or the equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a cook;
  • Experience in kitchen supervision;
  • MAPAQ certification;
  • Have no legal impediment related to the position.

Salary: 16$ to 17$ per hour

Schedule: Full time / Day and evening until 8 PM and every other weekend.

Status: Permanent / Job starts mid-February, 2018.
