STATION EST, a new residence for retirees that will officially open on October 1st 2017, is currently seeking 2 sous-chefs to join its new food services team. You have a DVS in Professional Cooking, have at least five years of experience in a similar position and are looking for reasonable schedules? Hurry and send us your application as soon as possible! Your challenge:  

  • Assist the Head of Food Service with all aspects of food service management;
  • Help prepare meals, keep kitchen spaces orderly; assist in ensuring compliance with hygiene standards, cleanliness of the premises, and good management of inventory;
  • Use equipment responsibly and effectively;
  • Help prevent accidents and ensure the safety and well-being of employees and residents.

  • Permanent position.
  • Even as a sous-chef, the latest you can finish is 8pm.

Requirements:

  • DVS in Professional Cooking or the equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a cook;
  • Experience in kitchen supervision;
  • MAPAQ certification;
  • Have no legal impediment related to the position. 

Salary: 17$ to 18$ per hour

Schedule: Full-time / Days and evenings until 8pm / One weekend out of two

Status: Permanent
