Shipping Technician #433

Our client in Montreal in the field of textile is seeking a shipping technician.

You will support the sales team during the customers’ order preparation by doing to the following tasks:

• Load all styles purchased online for the American market.
• Gather the order forms on the clients’ platforms or the electronic data interchange and enter the orders.
• Verify that the order forms are exact by comparing them with the initial order placed in the Momentis system.
• Prepare the list of samples and packaging, labels, stickers and price tags for customers by prioritizing the job according to shipment.
• Schedule appointments with the carriers to make sure that the shipment arrive on time and they are at the right location.
• Send an electronic Advanced Shipping Notification to the customers to inform them of the arrival of their order and further information.
• Provide the numbers of the follow up and the delivery proofs to the customer when required and specify the date of arrival expected for shipment.
• Take care of the billing for customer orders.
• Gather the cheque deductions by category of non-compliance and proceed with the credit notes.
• Help follow up on the traffic service and the distribution center to make sure that the order forms are received and shipped on time.
• Help answer the customers’, sales teams and logistics services’ questions to maintain customer satisfaction, whether internal or external.
• Carry out additional ad hoc orders if necessary.

Requirements:

• Excellent bilingualism (essential).
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in the field of manufacturing will be an asset.
• Good knowledge in Excel.

Salary: 16$ per hour

Schedule: Day / Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week / 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Status: Temporary
