STATION EST, a new residence for retirees that will officially open October 1st 2017, is currently seeking for one (1) part-time resident attendant for the night shift to complete its new team. Your challenge :

• Provide personalized care and assistance to residents based on their care plan;
• Actively participate in creating and maintaining a welcoming, stimulating, vibrant, and safe living environment;
• Build relationships of trust with residents and their families based on dignity and respect ;
• Encourage the residents’ independence and participation in activities;
• Carry out certain support tasks (meal service and housekeeping).

• 3 full-time positions and 3 part-time;

Required profile:

• Good customer service;
• Good team spirit;
• Excellent organizational skills.

Requirements:

• DVS in Assistance in Healthcare Facilities OR a DVS in home-based assistance OR a certificate of 5000 hours;
• Standard first aid and updated CPR certificates;
• PDSB training;
• WHMIS training (an asset);
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position;
• Bilingual;
• Have no legal impediment related to the position.    

Salary: 13.50$ to 14.50$ per hour.

Schedule: Part-time (6/14) / Night shift / One weekend out of two

Status: Position starts September 22nd 2017.
