Residence Cook #1632

Located in Montreal, our client is a well-administrated residence for retirees and is looking for a cook.

The tasks consist of:

• Serving residents.
• Give tasks to kitchen employees.
• Ensure the ongoing training of employees.
• Ensure food and product quality, and follow-up.
• Plan and organize meals with the kitchen manager.
• Take part in estimating the food’s purchase price and the meal’s cost price.
• Ensure that the Corporate Health and Safety standards, as well as hygiene and cleanliness standards are met.
• Update inventory every month and place orders to providers.
• Do other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• High school diploma completed or a DVS in Professional Cooking.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a cook.
• Great knowledge in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Training in MAPAQ hygiene and cleanliness.
• Bilingualism – an asset.
• Punctua.
• Can easily work with the elderly.
• Eager to learn.
• Give great customer service.

Salary: 18$ per hour

Schedule: Day, from 7am to 1:30pm.  

Status: Temporary to permanent.
