Quality Control Technician #1073

Company strongly known in the sector of production of high-end products for house accessories, located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and is looking for a Quality control Technician. Production skills with cutting edge technology. Friendly and dynamic work ambiance. In business for over 15 years.

Tasks:

• Collaborate with defining the scales of raw material quality;
• Oversee that the raw materials quality scales, the work in progress and the finished products respect the scales, according to the current quality criteria;
• Inspect, by random sampling, the raw materials, the work in progress and the finished products;
• Authorize returning non-conform materials to providers and file complaints when needed;
• Manage the quarantine and the rejects of non-conform material;
• Gather and analyze data in order to determine the causes of non-conformity,
• Implement and follow-up on corrective measures for operations;
• Collaborate with the management system analyst to investigate and analyze clients’ complaints;
• Train employees.

Requirements:

• Diploma of College Studies in an appropriate field or equivalent experience;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment;
• Experience in SME;
• Good team spirit;
• Strong resistance to stress;
• Interpersonal relations and communication skills;
• Great ability to solve problems;
• Self-sufficiency and rigour.

Salary: Between 17$ and 21$ per hour.

Schedule: Evening from 3:30pm to midnight / 40 hours per week.

Status: Temporary with possible extension.
