Production Supervisor # 1885

Are you an independent person and have good manual dexterity? We have the job for you!

Our client is a multinational with over 90 years of history and is looking for a production supervisor. The candidate must have experience in the manufacturing industry and personnel management.

Your main tasks:

• Keep your team mobilized for support and ensure operation performance;
• Plan, organize, direct and do daily follow-ups on the operations;
• Make sure that production quantity, costs and schedules are respected while supervising equipment maintenance;
• Aside from managing optimal production, you will ensure that the good fabrication practices and Corporate Health and Safety standards are met;
• Act as a coach on a daily basis for your teammates so that everything stays in line with operational strategies and common goals;
• You will have an important role to play in training and developing your teammates;
• Support supervisors and team leaders in problem solving as well as operational and human.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or an equivalent diploma, an asset;
• Experience in personnel management in the manufacturing industry;
• Love team work for a common goal;
• Have strong communication and coaching skills, which will be useful since the factory keeps growing;
• Leadership skills to reach goals, especially in company growth;
• Have already worked in a manufacturing industry.

Salary: 23$ to 28$ per hour, based on experience.         

Schedule: Overnight, 5pm to 3am, Monday evening to Friday morning.

Status: Temporary with possible extension.
