Production Planner & Inventory Manager #555

Our client is a great company in St-André-d’Argenteuil and is currently looking for a production planner. The candidate will also be responsible of inventory related to production.

Main functions:

• Perform a realistic analysis of production capability before establishing a delivery date.
• Be responsible for production and spoilage data entry in the accounting system.
• Issue a delivery date for every production order in a 1 weekday delay.
• Prepare a plan that maximizes operational efficiency.
• Make sure to have the corresponding tools before launching the production sequence.
• Be the main person in charge of managing all inventory.
• Gather and update different computer systems, all data related to production and implement different reports if necessary.
• Update the sales reports every day.
• Analyse with the director of operations, the different KPI and participate in elaborating solutions with the production team.
• Do a daily analysis of different variables that may influence the delivery date and submit these analyses / recommendations at the priority meeting.
• Make sure to communicate with the logistics and customer service coordinator as soon as possible of any delivery date changes.
• Confirm the finished product inventory before sequencing the production of this product, and ensure to optimize every sequence launched.
• Do a close follow-up on purchases and subcontracts with the buyer to ensure that the date promised to clients is respected.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineer.
• Continuous improvement training.
• 6 to 9 years of experience.
• Strong analytical skills.

Salary: 65 000$ to 70 000$, based on experience.

Schedule: Full-time / Day shift.

Status: Permanent.
