Import coordinator

Under the responsibility of the VP of Handbag and Fashion Accessory Divisions, the person will have the responsibility to:

Task Description :

• Manage all products, sourcing and manufacturing in the umbrella, wallet and belt categories
• Contribute in the expansion of our current portfolio by identifying and developing and sourcing brand accurate, trend setting new products to bring to market
• Prepare and communicate sample revision notes for overseas factory partners.
• Monitor production orders (confirm samples, deliveries, sending and receiving of documents)
• Coordinate pricing and samples
• Validate and maintain delivery scheduled from China
• Be the expert on the market consumers, and competitors to identify opportunities to grow this segment of our business
• Review and approve all pre-pro samples to ensure design accuracy. Evaluate product construction for functionality and production efficiency.
• Perform any other tasks relevant to the position.

Description of qualifications :

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an import coordinator. An equivalent combination of study, training and experience will be considered
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• English oral and written
